Elemental Herbology launches five new spa properties in the Maldives

Elemental Herbology are pleased to announce their partnership with ELE|NA The Spa at Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, to launch Elemental Herbology spa treatments and products into five luxury island resorts in the Maldives.

Launching from 20th March 2022, Elemental Herbology spa treatments and the full Five Element product range will be available at OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI and OZEN LIFE MAADHOO by Ozen Collection, OBLU SELECT Sangeli and OBLU NATURE Helengeli by Colours of Oblu and VARU by Atmosphere.

The treatments

Elemental Herbology will be launching at the five resorts with eight signature face and body treatments based on the Five Elements- wood, fire, earth, metal and water, with signature spa journeys based on each guests elemental energy.

Each journey begins with a Five Element consultation to analyse the guest’s needs, after which a suitable treatment is recommended. The spa menu includes Elemental Herbology’s signature Five Element Aroma Massage, Five Element Aroma Facial and the Vegan-Friendly Facial, ideal for guests looking to embrace ELENA’s commitment to sustainability.

Elemental Herbology and ELE|NA Spa are committed to providing environmentally sustainable spa operations, from sustainable packaging to ethically sourced ingredients. The spa team takes the eco-friendly initiatives a step further- with the use of polished coconut shells for a wonderfully relaxing massage.

ELE|NA believes in hiring and developing local therapists. As a next step, the brand has plans of launching the first-ever spa training academy in the Maldives in 2022. This will be a first in the Maldives, offering reputed spa training and certifications. Employing locally trained spa professionals cuts the carbon footprint, as the brand no longer relies on foreign workers- or sending local talent abroad for training.
