Spring is well and truly upon us and it’s a joy to feel the warmth of the sun once again after the dark and dingy winter months. As the seasons begin to change, so do our skin’s needs and it’s important to alter your skincare regime to reflect the change in weather, diet (we tend to move away from comfort foods as the weather heats up) and environmental factors (moving away from central heating).
In order to make the transition as smooth as possible, not only is choosing the right products vital to seeing a difference in your complexion, but so is how often and how you use them. Below we give steps to flawless spring skin:
Leave winter behind:
Use a gentle exfoliator to remove the dead cells from winter and make way for a brighter complexion. This not only helps with skin regeneration but also allows other products to be absorbed into the skin more easily. Change your cleanser:
Winter cleansers are more focused towards extra moisture and nourishment but now is the time skin tends to become normal to combination and so needs a cleanser to reflect that.
