Introducing... Water Soothe Facial Oil

We're thrilled to introduce our spa's best-kept secret, the Water Soothe Facial Oil, to retail for the first time.

The newest addition to the Elemental Herbology collection, we're delighted to announce the launch of the Water Soothe Facial Oil. Previously a spa-only product used as a luxurious facial massage medium in the Moisture Replenish Hydrating Facial and exclusive to the 40 Elemental Herbology spa locations across the globe, this calming facial treatment oil is now available to purchase on, bringing the spa experience home for the first time.

What does it do?

Part of the Water Moisture Replenish range, this calming, soothing facial treatment has been created to reduce sensitivity, reduce early signs of ageing and leave skin glowing and radiant. Natural oils help to restore skins barrier function, deeply hydrate and protect skin from environmental damage.

What does it contain?

The nut-free, vegan formula contains a blend of 14 nourishing plant and essential oils including:

English Chamomile: Works to soothe redness and irritation, as well as providing antioxidant protection against free radical damage

Rose Damask: Helps tone, hydrate and soothe sensitive skin while protecting skin’s natural moisture barrier

Rosehip Oil: Rich in Vitamins A and C, Rosehip Oil works to promote skin regeneration and boost overall radiance

Chia Seed Oil: The richest botanical source of Omega 3, this fatty acid oil plumps the skin and relieves dryness and peeling

How do I use it?

The Water Soothe Facial Oil can be used a number of ways. As a rich facial treatment, a little bit goes a long way- we recommend 2-3 drops per use. For very dry skin, apply the oil to cleansed skin morning and evening, and follow with your chosen moisturiser. For normal to dry skin, you may find the oil is hydrating enough by itself, or you may prefer to layer it alongside a serum.

What if I have oily skin?

Oily skin types can still benefit from the Water Soothe Facial Oil. The calming blend will help to balance oil production and reduce skin inflammation. We recommend using the Water Soothe Facial Oil as a treatment, applying 2-3 drops to dry skin in the evening, twice a week.

Why 'Water Soothe'?

As part of the Five Element Theory, the Water element represents winter- a time to embrace peace, solitude and self-care. Those whose personalities reside in the Water element tend to be intuitive and empathetic but can be introverted and prone to worry at times. The water element is associated with dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin- making the Water Soothe Facial Oil the perfect treatment as the air turns cooler, or for those with year-round dryness and dehydration.
